BIOGRAPHY + CURRICULUM VITAE
My projects focus on landscapes that have been affected by technology. This may refer to physical alteration of a landscape, or the psychological effects of such changes. Relying principally on photography, I incorporate other media such as video into my research in order to provide the viewer with a more holistic perspective.
I have contributed to national and international exhibitions including The Edge of the Earth: Climate Change in Photography and Video, Ryerson Image Centre, Toronto, Canada (2016); Le Mois de la Photo à Montréal (2015); Field Work, OSLO 8 Contemporary Photography in Basel, Switzerland (2015); and Encounters at the Edge of the Forest, Gallery 400, Chicago, USA (2014). My work has been featured in Artpress, Ciel Variable, WIRED, CBC News, and Canadian Art.
Born in Winnipeg, and having lived in Montréal for twelve years, I currently live in Calgary and teach photography at the Alberta College of Art + Design
